Terms of Service

Things.ai is a reflective AI assistant. It helps you organize your priorities, set intentions, track moods and routines, and reflect through conversations with an AI companion. The Service is provided by the Things.ai team.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we will remove it.

You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose; to harass, harm, or deceive anyone; to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data; to reverse engineer the Service; or to abuse, overload, or interfere with its operation, including its AI features.

The Things, notes, intentions, and other content you create remain yours. To operate the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process that content, including processing it with AI models to provide the reflections and conversations you request. You may delete your content at any time, and deleting it ends this license.

Reflections, check-ins, and other AI output in the Service are generated automatically and are for personal reflection and general information only. They are not professional advice — medical, legal, financial, or otherwise — and should not be relied upon as a substitute for a qualified professional.

We aim to keep the Service available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, change, or discontinue features of the Service. If a change is material, we will try to give you reasonable notice in the app.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through the Delete Account option in the app's menu. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law, or to protect the Service or other users.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Things.ai team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty dollars (CAD).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
