Privacy Policy

Things.ai is a reflective AI assistant that helps you organize your priorities, set daily intentions, and check in on your progress. It is built and operated by the Things.ai team. You can reach us any time through our Contact page .

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and name. If you sign up with Google, we receive the basic profile information you approve. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.

Content you create. The Things, notes, intentions, reflections, check-ins, mood entries, routines, hopes, and conversations with the AI assistant that you save in the app. This content is visible only to you.

Voice notes. If you record a voice note, the audio is sent for transcription so we can turn it into text for you. We keep only the resulting text.

Notification preferences. If you enable reminders, we store your notification settings and schedule, and a device push subscription so notifications reach your device.

Usage information. Basic analytics about how the app is used, such as which features are popular and whether errors occur.

We use your information to provide the service: storing your content, powering the AI reflections and check-ins you ask for, sending the notifications you enable, and keeping the app working and secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private content to advertise to you.

Things.ai's conversations and reflections are generated by AI models. To be useful, the assistant reads the Things, notes, and moods you have saved, and may keep short-lived notes about your preferences so its future responses fit you better. All of this stays part of your private data, and deleting your content or account removes it.

We share information only with the service providers that host and run the app (including its database, email delivery, and AI services), and only as needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual items at any time in the app, and you can request deletion of your account and all associated data using the Delete Account option in the app's menu, which creates a deletion request our team processes. You can also request deletion through our Contact page .

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app tools or contact us.

Things.ai is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app, and the “Last updated” date above will always reflect the current version.
